Blinds

One of the earliest hunting blinds was called a cocking-cloth. It was similar to a kite, but with a hole in the middle. The hunter carried the cloth in front of him as he approached his game, which was typically pheasant. When near enough, he put the barrel of his gun through the hole and took his shot.
